Joan Lewis

Ms. Lewis is the Rome Bureau Chief for EWTN covering the Vatican since 2005. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame, Indiana and earned a Diploma from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. She writes a daily blog, “Joan’s Rome,” records daily radio news links, a weekend radio show “Vatican Insider,” and occasional TV appearances. She was previously with the Holy See, where she was named to a number of Holy See delegations to United Nations conferences. Ms. Lewis is a Dame of the Order of St. Sylvester – named by Pope Benedict on June 24, 2005; Dame of the Constantinian Order of St. George and President of the Parish Council at Santa Susanna’s Church in Rome.
