Our attention has been drawn to an article on Facebook that uses our image while presenting content unrelated and out of context.
Whilst we respect the right to free expression and responsible journalism, we wish to clarify that neither our organization nor the individuals depicted in the image have any connection to the content of the article. The use of our image is misleading and may cause unnecessary confusion among the public.
The Healey International Relief Foundation has been working in Sierra Leone since 2001 and is a registered non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in Sierra Leone. Through our humanitarian efforts in health, education, and agriculture, we strive to make a significant and lasting impact. Our projects and interventions highlight our dedication to our mission and the positive changes we bring to the communities we serve.
We are committed to transparency, professionalism, and the integrity of our humanitarian work. We urge the public to verify information through the aforementioned contacts and not to associate our organization with narratives that do not reflect our mission or values.
We finally condemn in the strongest terms any defamatory article and the unwarranted use of our copyrighted materials and request that the image be Removed Immediately otherwise we will be constrained not to bring legal action both in Sierra Leone and the United States of America where we are registered.
