COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE
Jatin leads HIRF’s country office in Sierra Leone, bringing more than 20 years of experience in humanitarian, emergency, and peacekeeping operations across Africa and the Middle East. He has held senior roles as Deputy Director of Program Operations at eHealth Africa, Humanitarian Team Leader at CARE International, where he led the COVID-19 response, and Country Director at RA International. He began his career supporting UN, African Union, and ECOWAS peacekeeping missions.
Jatin joined HIRF as a Board Advisor and transitioned to Country Representative, leading the country office. He has supported organizations and companies to set up operations in Sierra Leone and other countries. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Alagendra Foundation, is a Patron of Cancer UK-Salone, and is a supporter of animal welfare. He also serves as Deputy Consul General for the Honorary Consulate of the Union of the Comoros.
