Megan Smith

Program Manager

Megan graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a BA in Communication Studies. During her time in college Megan worked for Volunteers of America, Delaware Valley. Upon graduation she worked in sales and a variety of other fields, but things came full circle and Megan returned to the world of philanthropy, one of which she truly loves. Working as the program manager, Megan is responsible for overseeing grant awards, seeking funding and management of specific projects throughout Sierra Leone.

“We do this field of work, not because we have to, because we want to. It’s a perpetual reminder of how much need is out there. Knowing the work you’re doing can make a difference in the lives of others is constant motivation and the people of Sierra Leone have left an imprint in my heart.”
