COUNTRY MANAGER AND TECHNICAL EXPERT
Dr. Ahmeda joined HIRF in November 2025 as Country Manager and Technical Expert. She is a dedicated Sierra Leonean medical doctor and program leader with hands-on experience in healthcare delivery, program coordination, and community health work.
Before joining HIRF, she served in rural Sierra Leone with the Ministry of Health, providing care to underserved communities, and also worked as a consultant for USAID through Panagora Group.
Dr. Ahmeda has led the planning and implementation of several community health and well-being projects, building strong partnerships and supporting effective program delivery. She brings to HIRF a proven record of leadership and a deep commitment to locally driven, results-focused humanitarian work.
She earned her medical degree in Sierra Leone and later pursued further studies in Clinical Mental Health at University College London, one of the world’s top ten universities.
